Citrus’ Musical Theatre Arts program presents a workshop in “Rent” based on Puccini’s opera “La Bohème” at Citrus’ Little Theatre.
“Rent” is a Tony Award winning musical written by Johnathan Larson about struggling young artists living in New York City in the 1980s.
The show is about struggling love, acceptance, adversity and living in the moment.
The production has three more shows scheduled at 7 p.m. on Feb. 14-15 and at 2 p.m on Feb. 16.
Citrus’ Musical Theatre has issued a content warning as the show depicts mature themes including language, sex, and drug use, and is not suitable for children.
Tickets are $34 for adults, $29 for seniors and $20 for students.
