The Citrus faculty, staff, and clubs buy gifts for their “angels” and give them at a party to provide an uplifting holiday experience. This is all done as donations and is voluntary for staff.

The theme for this year’s gifting and party is “Read, read, as fast as you can. Read with me, I’m the Gingerbread man!”

An email from director of EOP&S/CARE/NextUp and CalWORKS Sara Gonzales-Tapia said the theme is meant to encourage literacy among Citrus students and their children.

Staff, faculty and administration can select an ornament from a tree in the EOP&S/CARE office, that will determine the student and child they provide gifts for.

The holiday party will take place at 4 p.m. Dec. 6 in Citrus’ Campus Center.

All campus community members are invited to join and help provide an uplifting holiday experience.
