Voters in Monrovia elected a new member to Citrus’ board of trustees in the general election on Nov. 5.
Randa Wahbe will fill Citrus’ Area No. 5 trustee seat after her election win. She beat Fernando Villegas and Vickie Villegas.
Wahbe received 39.56% of the votes with Fernando Villegas and Vickie Villegas receiving 33.79% and 26.64% respectively.
Votes continue to be tallied as mail-in votes come in. The last day for county election officials to certify the election results is Dec. 5.
Wahbe will replace Mary Ann Lutz. Lutz’s term officially expires Nov. 30.

Steven Flowers ran uncontested for Area No. 4, which represents Glendora and portions of San Dimas. Flowers will be filling Patricia Rasmussen’s position on the board after Rasmussen’s term expires Nov. 30.
Laura Bollinger ran uncontested for Area No. 2 and will serve her second term representing Claremont and portions of Pomona and La Verne.
The next board meetings will be at 4:15 p.m. Nov. 19 and 3:15 p.m. Dec. 10 in the Administration building.
