A letter from the Clarion’s editor-in-chief

Hello Clarion audience and welcome, or welcome back, to Citrus for the fall 2024 semester!

My name is Kenna Jenkins and I’m going into my third year at Citrus. I have the privilege of continuing my role as editor-in-chief of the Clarion, Citrus’ student-run media outlet, this semester.

Last semester, the Clarion wrapped up our first year as a fully online publication after 76 years of print. We’re continuing to bring new ideas to the table as we enter our second year that we can’t wait to show you.

This semester we have seven staff reporters and six designers, and they’re excited to share their work with our audience over the course of the semester.

One of our main goals as a publication is to provide factual information to help you make informed decisions about the things going on at Citrus and in its surrounding communities, while upholding our codes of ethics and producing quality content.

At the Clarion, we value the voices of our readers and encourage you to reach out with feedback, thoughts and opinions through our Instagram, TikTok, or at contact@ccclarion.com

If you would like to send a letter to the editor, please refer to our letter policy and send it to kjenkins@ccclarion.com.

I hope you all have a successful fall semester, and I can’t wait to see what we all accomplish.

Thank you,

Kenna Jenkins
Editor-in-Chief
