Candidates for the 2024 school government elections are here

The Associated Students of Citrus College ballot is in and here are the 2024 candidates.

    • Marlene Fuentes is running for ASCC president.
    • Eden Yang and Julian Diaz are running for ASCC vice president.
    • Joshua Lao is running for ASCC legislative liaison.
    • Hamza El Lahib is running for an ASCC senator position, he is the only student running for one of the seven positions.
    • Samuel Castillo, Isaiah Moses, Jennifer Rodriguez, Jonathan Johnson and Hina Furuyama are all running for ASCC student trustee.

    ​​All candidates, unless they have class, are expected to participate in the Candidates’ Forum taking place at 11:30 a.m. April 23 in the Campus Center Mall.

    The Candidates’ Forum gives students an opportunity to meet the candidates, ask them questions and listen to them explain their qualifications for the position and why they’re running for office.

    Online voting will take place from 9:30 a.m. April 29 through 8 p.m. April 30 via Wingspan.

    Election results will be available May 2 with those elected assuming office June 17 to serve during the 2024-2025 academic year.
