Football
The Owls suffered a 33-28 loss against East Los Angeles on Oct. 28 at Citrus College.
Citrus’ Kannon Katzer had two touchdowns, while Tayvonne Miller and Jesse Carmona had a touchdown each.
The Owls are now 5-3 for the season and will be on the road to face Orange Coast on Nov. 4.
Volleyball
The Owls earned a 3-1 (25-20, 25-17, 16-25, 25-20) home win against Glendale on Nov. 1.
Citrus’ Faith Evaro finished with 16 kills, while Desiree Reyes had 15 kills to secure the win.
The Owls are now 6-18 for the season and will be at home to face College of the Canyons on Nov. 3.
Men’s Water Polo
Citrus College suffered a 13-10 loss on the road against LA Valley on Nov. 3.
LA Valley’s Christian Perez finished with four goals, while Jack Gezalyan and Jozef Gutierrez finished with three each.
Citrus is now 13-11 for the season and will compete in the Western State Conference Championship on Nov. 4 at LA Valley.
Men’s Soccer
Citrus College suffered a 2-1 home loss against Bakersfield on Nov. 3.
The Owls’ Eduardo Marquez scored the only goal for the team, while Bakersfield’s Jesus Cortez and Jordee Magana had one goal each to secure the win.
Citrus is now 9-7-3 for the season and will be at home to face Antelope Valley on Nov. 7.
Women’s Soccer
Citrus College competed hard on the road in a 1-1 tie game against College of the Canyons on Nov. 3.
Jayme Beatty scored the only goal for Citrus, while Alyssa Edwards scored the only goal for the Canyons.
The Owls are now 9-4-5 for the season and will be at home to face Santa Monica on Nov. 7.
Women’s Golf
Citrus College competed at the Western State Conference Championship and finished with a team score of 868 on Oct. 30.
Isabelle Olivas-Lowell emerged victorious in the individual WSC Championship, scoring 151 over two days.
The Owls’ Olivas-Lowell, Makenzey de Ridder, Sofia Sandoval and Cora Averweg will compete at the SoCal Regional on Nov. 5 at the Simi Hills Golf Course.
