The Associated Students of Citrus College recently approved a resolution that declares April 28 “Dr. Schulz Day.”
Dr. Schulz Day will celebrate Citrus College Superintendent/President Greg Schulz’s birthday and commitment to student success through the wearing and distribution of bow ties.
Limited edition Hootie Owl bow ties will be distributed to students, faculty and staff in the Campus Center beginning April 24 and will be available as long as supplies last.
To receive a bowtie, students will need to show a student ID and employees will need to show proof of employment, which can include college IDs, business cards or keys.
Students can celebrate on social media by using the hashtag #DrSchulzDay.
