The Citrus Owls men’s basketball team are set to go to the California Community College Athletic Association state championship. The Owls clinched their spot in the tournament after beating Ventura College at home in overtime 96-93 March 4. This win improved the 3rd CCCAA ranked Owl’s record to 27-3.
The Owls will face College of the Sequoias in the first round of the tournament at 7 p.m, March 9. To win the state championship the Owls will need to string three wins together over the other elite teams in the bracket. The semifinals will be March 11 and the championship game will be on March 12 at West Hills Lemoore College.
