The Citrus College Office of Student Affairs has extended the application period for the 2021-2022 student government term until July 1.
The regular election, which closed on April 22, revealed a small ASCC Executive Board of five people. A president and vice president have not yet been elected. No experience is required to run, Dean of Students Maryann Tolano-Leveque said in an email to students.
The current ASCC Executive Board voted to delete Article IV, Section 3, Item G from the ASCC constitution, which says that a student must be on the executive board for one semester to be elected president or vice president.
Students can apply by visiting the Citrus College Student Affairs website. For more information, contact Student Life Supervisor Rosario Garcia at regarcia@citruscollege.edu.
