A mandatory evacuation order has been issued for residents in the Camp Williams area due to the Bobcat Fire extending into the area.
The County of Los Angeles Office of Emergency Management said that the affected area includes “unincorporated areas of Camp Williams, east of Highway 39, south of East Fork Road, west of Glendora Mountain Road and north of Glendora Ridge Road,” in the mountains above Glendora.
“Those in the evacuation area should evacuate now,” said the office on their website.
The fire has expanded to over 60,000 acres, reaching 15% containment as of this morning.
