Citrus College confirmed the first case of COVID-19 on campus 10:10 p.m. April 3 by a memo sent out to all students and staff by Superintendent/ President Geraldine M. Perri, Ph.D.
The individual was reported to have been on campus at 9 a.m. March 31 in the Professional Center (PC) and the Center for Innovation (CI) buildings.
The memo said it reassured all students and staff that the college had taken measures to “clean and disinfect all areas that this individual may have accessed, in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).”
Perri also said if anyone believes they may have been exposed, call the L.A. County 211 line or contact their primary physician for help in that matter.
