The Reservoir and Fish fires that sparked June 20 now labelled as the San Gabriel Complex fire, burned through 4,900 acres and is 10 percent contained as of Wednesday morning
The Reservoir fire, reported at 11 a.m. on June 20, authorities said was caused by a car crash that killed one person. Deputy chief of the Los Angeles County Fire Department John Tripp said the vehicle flipped over the side of the road and fell down into a canyon near Morris Reservoir.
The Fish fire caught in Duarte an hour later. Causes of both fires are still under investigation.
